Micromaster in Game and Interactive Experience Design Certificate Course
This course will teach students the methodology and process of creating games and interactive experiences.
This program is designed for professional animators, industrial designers, and multimedia designers to learn new tools, affordably enhance their workflow, and effortlessly express their creativity.
Open-source software such as Blender, GIMP, Audacity, and Godot are effective alternative multimedia production tools to more well-known closed-source software. By applying them to each step in the production pipeline, students acquire the ability to bridge the assortment of software above at zero software subscription costs.
In this course, students will use these open source software to create 2D platformers, 3D FPS games and 3D top-down shooters. From initial game conception, win-lose logic and condition determination, to game asset design and export settings, students will participate in every step of production and witness the entire game production process.
(Target Audience:
3D artists, digital artists, game artists, game designers, game developers, interactive experience designers
