Current themes provided for P1-P6 students:

Primary 1: Who am I (20 Hours)

In this 20-hour course, P1 students will work on different assignments based on the theme of "Who am I?” Students will learn four different creative and office tools including Inkscape, Shotcut, Write and Present.

First, students will learn the basic operations of using the office tool Write to complete simple word processing. During the process, students will be able to record everything about themselves in text form, so that they can use different tools to create later. Afterwards, students will learn to use Inkscape to create different objects, including their own homes, their favorite foods and places. This process requires students to convert words into pictures to describe themselves, which helps train them to think and express things in different ways. Finally, students will learn to use Shotcut to create a short introductory video. They will learn how to insert different photos (Inkscape finished work) and audio recordings to edit and export to video. The finished work can be played in turn during the class so that students can get to know each other.

Overall, this course will promote students' presentation skills, creativity, critical thinking and organizational skills.

Primary 2: A Marine Journey (20 hours)

In this 20-hour course, P2 students will learn four powerful open source tools, including Krita, Blender, Write and Present, to complete the theme assignments.

First, students will learn the basics of using Krita to draw different sea creatures on the computer and save the finished work in PNG format so that they can use different tools to create their work later. Afterwards, students will continue to learn to use Present for advanced slide shows, such as using animation effects and adding finished PNG images to create simple 2D ocean animations. Next, students will follow the provided storyline and use Write to continue the adventure in the ocean to train their imagination and creativity. Finally, students will learn the basic operations of Blender to insert 2D sea creatures and create 3D ocean scenes and simple animations to enrich their storytelling journey.

Overall, this course will promote students' imagination, creativity, storytelling and organizational skills. In addition, this theme is complemented by field trips (aquarium visits) to allow students to learn about different marine creatures and to learn about caring for the environment.

Primary 3: The Robot Journey (20 Hours)

In this 20-hour course, P3 students will learn about the creative programming tool Mojobot and five powerful open source software packages: Inkscape, Blender, Kdenlive, Writer and Impress. Students will create stories based on the theme of "Robotic Journey" and use these tools to visualize them.

First, students will learn to use simple commands to manipulate the robot Mojobot to narrate a short story. In this process, students will develop their expressive and logical thinking skills. Students will learn to use simple commands to manipulate the robot Mojobot and narrate a short story. Next, students will create simple vector graphics in Inkscape, which will be used as props for storytelling. Afterwards, students will learn to use Blender to create robots, which will be used as storytelling props for the class. It will be the main character of the story in this class. Under the guidance of the teacher, students will integrate the robot model with the previously created vector graphics to create a complete scene.

After completing the digital media, students will use Writer and Impress to learn how to create storyboards and slideshows. Finally, students will learn to use Kdenlive to edit a short The video will be the final product of the storytelling course.

Overall, this course will develop students' ability to represent abstract concepts in a visual way, improve their mathematical skills, and improve their communication skills. When creating story scenes and characters When editing video, students' spatial understanding and storytelling skills will be further enhanced; and when presenting ideas to others and reporting on the production process, their expression will be improved. When editing video, students' spatial understanding and storytelling skills will be further enhanced; and their presentation skills (presentation skills) will be sharpened when telling others about their ideas and the production process.

Primary 4: Story of Farms (20 hours)

In this 20-hour course, P4 students will learn to use five powerful open-source tools (Inkscape, Blender, Krita, Writer, and Impress) to create proprietary Digital Farm.

First, students will use Krita to draw their own farm maps and backgrounds. Next, they will learn to use Inkscape to create simple posters to promote their farms. Afterwards, students will learn to create a farm map based on their own design. Afterwards, students will learn to create 3D models in Blender based on their own farm maps and integrate existing farm backgrounds. Students will develop the ability to express abstract concepts in a visual way by guiding their imagination to create freely.

Students will also improve their understanding of graphics and space (identifying and describing planar shapes and describing the orientation and placement of objects) and their artistic creativity.

The course will also take students through the concepts of data grouping and pictograms, with the goal of reinforcing what they have learned in the school-based curriculum while furthering their mathematical skills and gaining a deeper understanding of The course will also take students through the concepts of data grouping and pictograms. In the final part of the course, students will learn to use Writer and Impress to create a report to document the entire creation process and to complete a report on the results of the creation. The students will learn to use Writer and Impress to create reports to document the entire creative process and to complete a report on the results.

Overall, students' mathematical skills, creativity, critical thinking, and organizational skills will be enhanced as they progress through the course.

Primary 5: The Digital Entrepreneur (20 Hours)

This 20-hour course will focus on the theme of "Digital Entrepreneurship" and will guide students to produce digital media works to enhance their competitiveness in the digital age.

Students will first learn the fundamentals and theories in the fields of graphic design and financial technology, and later apply them to the production of digital media works to build their own "digital business".
They will learn to create business cards using GIMP. They will learn to create business cards using GIMP, create exclusive currencies and logos using Inkscape, create 3D virtual objects using Blender, and create reports and slideshows using Writer and Impress.

Overall, this course aims to improve students' presentation skills (presentation skills), understanding of graphics, and creativity. In addition to this, students will be able to customize products and plan their own "virtual business". When customizing products and planning their Students will also be required to calculate the demand and profitability of their products, which will be an exercise in computational thinking and mathematical skills.

Primary 6: The Digital Designer (20 Hours)

This 20-hour interdisciplinary program is designed to provide Primary 6 students with the knowledge, skills and tools within the framework of the core technologies of the digital economy. Industry 4.0 is coming with a fierce force. Students need to be prepared for the digital transformation of traditional industries and the accelerated industrialization of digital industries, and early exposure to innovative technology tools will provide them with the foundation to succeed in the digital economy in the future.

This course is themed "Digital Designer" and students will learn 8 powerful open source tools: Inkscape, Blender, Penpot, Mozilla
Hubs, Godot, Kdenlive, Openshot, Audacity, Writer, and Impress.

First, students will learn to use Inkscape to create their own avatars in vector graphics format, a process that will help boost their confidence and allow them to build their self-identity. Next, students will learn to use Blender to create 3D models including islands. Their understanding of 3D modeling will deepen and their design horizons will be broadened. After that, they will use Penpot to learn the UI/UX production process and techniques to master the method of presenting their own digital media works. They will also learn to use Audacity and Kdenlive / Openshot to enhance their digital media portfolio with vivid audio and video.

To meet the trend of digital economy, the course also plans to let students learn basic programming and software design using Godot, create reports and slides using open source office software Writer and Impress, and try to create spaces on Mozilla Hubs, a virtual presentation platform, to showcase their work.

Overall, this course will stimulate students' creativity and improve their design, logical thinking, and presentation skills.
