Krystal Institute played a pivotal supporting role in the landmark initiative – The Jockey Club “AI for the Future” Program at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) – jointly spearheaded by CUHK and The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. The outcomes of this collaboration were prominently showcased at the “Greater Bay Area ‘AI for the Future’ Experience Camp 2024,” held on August 19, 2024, at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. The one-day event brought together over 300 teachers and students from across the region.

As a vital technical partner, Krystal Institute is committed to advancing the project's mission of establishing a comprehensive and sustainable AI education ecosystem for secondary school students. The Institute's contributions were highlighted during the camp, which also launched a new online learning platform designed to empower educators and students.

During the morning session, attendees gained an in-depth understanding of the new online learning platform developed by Krystal Institute. Presentations detailed the platform's founding philosophy, development goals, and innovative features, while offering hands-on experience with core modules. These included a professional-grade online learning environment, cutting-edge generative AI tools, and official AI courses specifically designed for junior high students.
Beyond the camp, Krystal Institute's support for the “AI for Future” initiative is both extensive and ongoing. The institute plays a pivotal role in supporting the initiative's “Champion Schools,” equipping them with the tools and expertise needed to effectively implement the new AI curriculum. Furthermore, Krystal Institute actively invests in educator development, having provided critical generative AI skills training to over 40 representatives from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. This ensures teachers are fully prepared to guide the next generation of innovative talent.
