Krystal Institute Collaborates with Hong Kong Taoist Association Shun Yeung Primary School to Provide DECT Education to Students

Krystal Institute is proud to announce our partnership with Hong Kong Taoist Association Shun Yeung Primary School on implementing the Digital Economy Core Technology (DECT) Educational Program under the DECT Global Series to students. The partnership will see Krystal Institute supply course materials of Photography, 2D animation, 3D animation, and our all-in-one cloud-based educational platform, the Krystal Educational Platform.

About DECT Educational Program ​

Digital Economy Core Technology (DECT) is the technologies and innovative fields that serve as the common denominator of progress in the digital economy.

DECT can be divided under the themes of:

• Digital Arts and Production

• Science and Engineering

• Digital Literacy

• DECT Studies

To achieve the aim of empowering people around the world and the future leaders of the global digital economy, Krystal Institute introduced to the school the DECT Lab, which is one of the four sub-programs for DECT knowledge, skills, and tools. DECT Lab provides foundation knowledge that matches the needs of the Industry 4.0 labor market for primary, secondary schools, and higher education markets.

About Krystal Educational Platform

As a cloud-based platform, Krystal Educational Platform (KEP) offers DECT curriculum and relevant open-source tools. Real-time communication and the upload and download of learning materials can be done via the secure, close-based KEP.

Upcoming DECT Programs

To empower the students and provide them with upward mobility in the future, Krystal Institute has also collaborated with the City University of Hong Kong - SCOPE on the provision of the Employees Retraining Board (ERB) program - Certificate in Creative Digital Media Design and Production Assistant Training. The program is supported by the Love Upgrading Special Scheme 3 in where special arrangements will be implemented under the Scheme, including the disbursement of special allowance to trainees and waive of program fees.
