Krystal Institute Affiliate Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Future Design School of Harbin Institute of Technology, Driving Innovation in China's Digital Creativity Foundational Technologies

Krystal Institute's affiliated company, CG Global Entertainment Limited (Hong Kong) (hereinafter referred to as "CGGE"), officially signed a strategic cooperation Memorandum of Understanding with the Future Design School of Harbin Institute of Technology. The two parties will engage in in-depth collaboration across multiple domains, including artificial intelligence, digital creativity, vocational education, and international cooperation. This partnership marks the official launch of long-term collaborative efforts between CGGE and Harbin Institute of Technology in the fields of technological innovation and education, jointly driving the high-quality development of China's digital media industry. Krystal Institute will support the initiative by offering its expertise in research, education, and digital media innovation.

As a leading enterprise in the field of digital media and computer graphics (CG), CGGE boasts extensive industry experience and cutting-edge technical expertise. Particularly in the realm of open-source technology training, CGGE has leveraged its professional curriculum design and practical teaching methods to successfully assist numerous universities and enterprises in cultivating digital creative talent. Through this partnership with Harbin Institute of Technology, CGGE will further capitalize on its technical strengths in digital media, injecting powerful resources into the collaborative project for innovative engineering.

The university boasts a rich legacy of research and practical experience, particularly in future design. Through interdisciplinary integration and innovation-driven approaches, HIT has cultivated a large pool of high-quality talent for the digital creative industry. This partnership will fully leverage HIT's strengths in technological industrialization and future design, working together with CGGE to drive cutting-edge advancements in artificial intelligence and digital creativity.


Long-term Cooperation Direction: Creating a New Chapter in Technological Education


To further solidify their collaboration, both parties have reached agreements on several long-term strategic cooperation initiatives. These include establishing the joint HIT-CGGE Artificial Intelligence and Digital Creativity Research Center, focusing on the development and application of AI and digital creativity technologies. The research center will combine the strengths of both parties in open-source technology and AI to establish China's Computer Graphics Production ,leveraging open-source tools and AI capabilities to set a new benchmark for the industry.


Additionally, both parties plan to co-host international exchange events, develop non-academic continuing education courses and K12 youth foundation courses, explore joint ventures for overseas cooperation in education, and construct an integrated innovation ecosystem integrating production, academia, and research.

About CG Global Entertainment Limited (CGGE)


CG Global Entertainment Limited (CGGE) was founded in Hong Kong in 2017 to develop Computer Graphics (CG) technical standards, leveraging open-source technologies and artificial intelligence to build digital content creation pipelines. CGGE creates original animated feature films, short dramas, digital avatars, IP portfolios. Collaborating with higher education institutions and industry partners, such as the Harbin Institute of Technology, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Shenzhen University to cultivate Digital Economy Core Technology (DECT) talent and develop the Global Computer Graphics Production Standard (GCGPS). In 2024, alongside the Shenzhen Research Institute, Chinese University of Hong Kong, CGGE co-organized the first International Artificial Intelligence and Creative Conference (IAICC).


CGGE's Founders have decades of experience in the global digital content industry. In 2000, they founded Global Digital Creative Holdings Limited (HKEX: 8271) and the Institute of Digital Media Technology (IDMT), known in the industry as the "Whampoa Military Academy" of animation training. The Neoh brothers invested 20 million USD to develop China's first 3D animated feature film "Thru the Moebius Strip" (2005). Through cooperation with Nanyang Technological University, Shenzhen University, and City University of Hong Kong in computer animation talent cultivation, IDMT alumni became China's first batch of globally recognized professional CG talent, advancing Chinese CG animation to Hollywood's industrial standards.
